Plenty of historic action at the legendary Spa circuit...
A focus on Reliant
Starting out in 1935 with three-wheelers, Reliant progressed to the full picnic with its four-wheeled fiberglass Sabre sports car in 1961. However, it was for its 1968 Scimitar GTE sports estate that everybody started to take notice of it for, for the idea of a fast, luxurious station wagon had never been tried before. It was the high point of Reliant’s existence as it was unable to come up with a suitable successor.
In later years, Reliant relied more on its Robin three-wheeler (as well as its extra wheel-endowed Kitten offshoot) for business, but these weren’t enough to sustain the company and its life as a car manufacturer came to an end in 2002.
