H&H auctions celebrates its century by consigning two significant collections

After 16 years in the industry, H&H holds its 100th auction of vintage and classic cars on April 16  back ‘home’ at The Pavilion Gardens, Buxton. And it’s managed to consign two collections – the first from an American-born but Parisian-based collector includes such rarities as a 1920 Kissel ‘Gold Bug’ Speedster, 1933 Pierce-Arrow 836 Club Brougham and 1951 Mercury Moneterey Convertible. The second is of more than 30 cars from Alvis to Wolseley from the 1930s through to the 1970s, from a Lakeland collection. Star lot from this hoard, the 1937 Alvis 4.3 Litre Short Chassis Vanden Plas Tourer, is one of 12 made and is estimated at £100,000-£120,000, though there’s a 1968 Sunbeam Stiletto at a more accessible £500-£800.More on 08458 334455 or see
