The New Products Showcase at the 2010 SEMA Show in Las Vegas early last November shattered the record for most supplier registrations in the event’s history. With last-minute sign-ups, over 1,621 products were exhibited in the South Hall of the giant Las Vegas Convention Center.
“The New Products Showcase is arguably the single best, most effective tool exhibitors have to reach the largest audience possible,” said SEMA vice president of communication and events Peter MacGillivray. “It’s not just about showcasing the product in a prominent area at the show, it’s also about maximizing the exposure throughout the year.”
The new products – most displayed in glass-front cases, but many too large to fit inside the enclosures – caused cameras to flash and professionals in all branches of the automotive aftermarket to get excited. The products were divided into 15 categories, both for New Product Awards judging and so attendees were able to easily find products for their respective market niches.
Many of the categories were of interest to restorers who offer mechanical repairs, bodywork or other services. Here are some categories that attract products aimed at classic car fans:

Street-Rod/Custom Car Product
