1914: Sportscar design

The Mercedes Grand Prix Car of 1914, which was equipped with a new engine design based on Daimler aero engines, introduced a number of new design characteristics.

Not only for Mercedes, the long bonnet, the forward front axle and the arrow-shaped radiator dominated sportscar design right up to the late 20s.
