Tell us which new pony car lives up to its past.

For the first time since the early 70s there are finally proper pony car offerings from the big three. Ford has soldiered on with the Mustang  continuously since its launch in 1964-1/2. Chevrolet took a hiatus with the Camaro in 2002 after a 35 year run. The largely absent player in the pony car wars is Dodge which put the Challenger out to pasture after 1974 (we're going to ignore the rebadged Mitsubishi as most people did back then). But now the time has come and the pony car wars are back!

The question is though, who got it right? Which one of these modern pony cars has succeeded in capturing the essence of its ancestry? Is it the Mustang which is the only one in the group to stay in production since its debut? Or is it the Camaro with it's impressive 426hp from a good old fashioned pushrod small block V8? Or is it the Challenger which can proudly answer "YES!" to the question of "does that thing have a Hemi"?

So, who got it right and why?
