American Dream Machines is located in Des Moines, Iowa, in the heart of the Midwest and is the largest full-service classic car dealership in the area. We occupy a 41,000 square foot historic Packard dealership that was built in 1929. We focus on American muscle machines with integrity. We usually have around 70 cars in stock at all times. We take pride in buying and selling quality American muscle cars. American Dream Machines doesn't currently offer in house financing. Instead, we put you in touch with the financing experts that can give you good rates and make your car buying experience as painless as possible. It normally takes just a few minutes for online approval based on your credit scores. As a value added service, JJBest preforms an onsite inspection of the car to make sure it is a worthwhile investment. At American Dream Machines, we promise to try our best to accurately describe our cars. We have implemented a "sight unseen policy" that will not allow you to buy a car from our dealership unless you have spoken to multiple people to get different perspectives on our cars. We will not intentionally misrepresent our vehicles and we will do our best to make sure your car is what you expect.

    I was satisfied with ADM. They didn't have exactly what i wanted which was surprising since they have a large selection with a little bit of everything. But the customer service was great. Informative and straight forward - no b.s. Every time I was in the shop the staff was always helpful and easy to work with. Based off the hand full of times I'd interacted with ADM, I recommended them to a couple family members, both bought cars, both satisfied. If I'm going to buy another classic in the years to come I'm starting with ADM.

    Good times were had by all

    I visited american dream machines a couple of days ago, the place looks amazing and the cars even more so. I was a little hesitant to purchase such an old used car because they can be riddled with problems. The salesman who helped me was very transparent about the subject. he told me that they do detailed inspections of the engine, frame, and the overall appearance of the car. I didn't end up buying the 1971 Chevrolet Camino I was eying, but overall i had a good experience.

    Stopped looking in AZ.and CA. and went to Des Moines. After finding a gem of a 68 Camaro at ADM I returned the next year to find an excellent running and clean 55 Bel Air and 72 Corvette convertible. The TEAM at ADM was great in assisting with a complete review of the cars and their follow up has been all I could ask for in attending to the details. I would not hesitate to go back for my classic car selection and strongly recommend a visit on line or in person. ART
