This love affair with "interesting older autos" goes back to 1957 when my first purchase, a 1947 Pontiac woody wagon (for $25) wasn't that old. The Pontiac's subsequent sale, a couple of month's later, for $65, steered me down a path, from which, I guess, it's too late to turn back now! I currently maintain an inventory of 300 +/- "interesting older autos" at an old chicken farm here in Freeport, Maine. They range in condition from junk and marginally restorable vehicles, up to road ready cruisers and fully restored examples. No matter what the price, I strive to offer good value, for dollars spent. I'm generally around seven days a week, unless I'm off picking up or delivering something; and from April to September, on Saturday afternoons and evenings, I'll be racing my Late Model Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS stock car at Oxford Plains Speedway. In any event, it's always best to call ahead, before an unannounced visit. My answering machine will relate my whereabouts, and when I'll return. I'll look forward to talking with you. Neil B. Goldenrod Garage and Neil Martin are everything he says it is. I've always enjoyed every moment I have had the pleasure to share at Goldenrod Garage. I've spent time just enjoying all the wonderful classic cars there as well as buying one and consigning one. I really encourage anyone that is up in the Freeport, Maine area to stop by and enjoy what Goldenrod has to offer. If you don't you will have missed a great opportunity. I can't wait for my next visit. Matter of fact I plan to stop by the end of this month. Enjoy!
