DESCRIPTIONIf you're ready to collect trophies and have a blast in the process, this wild custom 1967 Corvette coupe is the perfect option. The piece starts with an aftermarket fiberglass body that features shaved door handles, relocated turn signals, and tucked bumpers for an ultra-clean look. The shell is covered in a fresh coat of metallic silver paint that shows well from virtually every angle. Lift the stinger-style hood forward to find a modern 350ci block stroked to 383 cubic inches and prepared for battle by 5-time NHRA National Champion, Bill Reichert. The sturdy foundation is topped with a single 4 bbl carburetor from Quick Fuel Technology, a bowtie intake manifold, cast iron heads, and a killer twin T3 turbo setup that breathes through an air-to-air intercooler. Fired up by a programmable MSD ignition system and cleared by stainless headers. Below the car, a TCI 400 3-speed automatic transmission with a reverse manual valve body channels small block power to the ground through a narrowed Ford 9-inch rear with 3.10 gears. The foundation for the build is a custom tube chassis from Jamieson Fabrication Unlimited that features a modified C4 Corvette front suspension with a 4-link rear and four-wheel air-ride for ground-scraping capabilities. Manual rack-and-pinion steering pairs with GM four-wheel disc brakes for a great driving experience. Inside the car, a full lipstick red interior stitched together by Bob Fender finish the car on a high note.
