The C2s, or mid-years, were designed by Larry Shinoda and inspired by the Sting Ray Corvette Race car of the late 50s. Featuring tons of power, high levels of sophistication and factory equipment, and undeniable good looks, the C2s are some of the most sought after Corvettes today especially the 67 427! No expense was spared in restoring this numbers-matching Corvette. This is a real deal 1967 Sting Ray with a L71 427 CID V8 435HP Tri-Power and 4-Speed Manual Transmission, considered by many to be the most desirable Corvette of all time! Rebuilt and rotisserie-restored, all part numbers and build codes are documented and receipts are in-house. This Corvette was originally built on May 8th, 1967, and the build codes show the engine was produced in GMs Tonawanda Plant on April 4th, 1967. It is a true L71 427/435HP Tri-Power motor (with lighter L89 Aluminum Heads), and the original body paint was indeed Silver Pearl (986).
