1967 Ford Mustang$37,900

• DESCRIPTIONThe orig owner from Whittier Ca. ordered this car while on duty from Vietnam. It is a factory K code fastback, only 567 of these were made in 67. He drove the car for a while and then in the 70's he thought about going racing with it. He was a Winston Cup Nascar team manager and was skilled in mechanical and fabrication. He also holds some speed records at the Bonneville Salt Flats. The fenders are Mercury Capri IMSA fenders, he bought 2 sets and modified them for the car, he put in the quickchange rear and had the large servo C4 trans beefed up. He does not remember if it is the orig engine or not, we do not see a vin on it. It has a solid lifter Isky cam, Dart iron heads and all HD internals. This car was a magazine cover car in the late 70's for Mustang's Illustrated, do not know the issue, sorry. The magazine has a 4 page article in it as well as the cover. He was preparing to enter the IMSA series when it was disbanded, so this car has only seen practice runs and then turned into a street cruiser. It ran the entire 1st Hot Rod Power Tour and has the sticker on the window. It can be driven anywhere at this time and is very easily driven but handles like it is on rails.
