DESCRIPTIONIf you're ready to rule the show field and autocross course, why not do it all at once with this sinister '69 Camaro? Starting with a true X55 Camaro SS, this car has been completely reworked from the subframe up. Born LeMans blue, the coupe now wears a glossy coat of Tuxedo black over laser straight body panels. A matte black hockey-stick stripe accents the paintwork. Nothing is shaved but the body features additions like a smoothed, tucked and painted front bumper, ZL2-style cowl induction hood and a D80-style rear spoiler for an aggressive look. Under the hood a healthy GM 454 big block produces approximately 650hp with the help of a medium-rise intake, Demon carburetor, Pro Comp aluminum heads and a fresh camshaft from Comp Cams. The block, intake, valve covers and custom air cleaner all wear a glossy coat of black that ties into custom filler panels and shaved firewall that surround the engine. Turn the key and the big block fires to life, bellowing through headers connected to 3-inch dual exhausts with polished Magnaflow Mufflers. Behind the engine, a Muncie M21 four-speed manual sits just under body-matched floor pans with fresh hardware all around. A Fatman Fabrications subframe supports the front end with help from Detroit Speed control arms and a pair of coilovers. Sturdy subframe connectors attach that subframe to a detailed rear end that features a Ford 9-inch rear with 3.55 gears and Competition Engineer Slide-A-Link traction bars. Staggered 18"/20" wheels tuck manual C5 Corvette brakes. Inside the car, a custom red leather interior takes the car over the top while using a variety of factory Camaro pieces to achieve its wild look. Attention-grabbing in every way, this slick '69 Camaro won't stick around for long!
