  • DESCRIPTION1969 Plymouth Roadrunner VIN#RM23H9E168313 You will never find one like this again! A documented original owner 1969 Roadrunner with just over 30,000 true miles! Original, undamaged, everything except wheels, tires, and battery just as it was delivered off the showroom floor in January 1970. Originally purchased by the Dad, now owned by the Son. VIN and trim tags intact verify that the hardtop body, with H Code 383 CID 1-4BBL "B" high performance engine, three-speed Torque Flite A727 automatic transmission, a true California car, assembled in Los Angeles plant. This 383-cu.in. engine wasn't the same old 383 that had been used for years prior. Engineers borrowed the high-performance cylinder heads from the 440 Magnum/Super Commando, with their improved ports and 2.08/1.74-inch valves, along with the HP 440 hydraulic-lifter camshaft. Additional improvements included a high-rise cast-iron intake manifold with a Carter AVS four-barrel carburetor with the N96 "Air Grabber" cold air induction system. With exhaust expelled through a dual system, the new engine was rated for 335hp and 425-lbs.ft. of torque. Look for an "H" in the VIN. The heavy-duty suspension package was automatically installed on all Road Runners. Included as part of the package were heavier ball joints, torsion bars and tubular hydraulic shock absorbers, as well as a sizable anti-roll bar. Upgrades at the opposite end included another pair of heavy-duty shocks along with six-leaf semi-elliptic springs on the left and 5? on the right. As was the case with other performance Mopars of the period, the brake system was upgraded to heavy-duty status. Drums were standard, but they measured 11 x 3 and 11 x 2.50 inches front and rear. Original MOPAR paint code 999 orange is intact, showing only minor polish abrasion on corners. All character decals are perfect. Virtually no dings, scratches or other body or paint damage. All glass is perfect, original and showing no aging. Interior, in complimentary black, is in great shape, with only 1 small tear and 1-2 seams showing minor separation which can easily be repaired. Trunk is perfect, with no damage or rust whatsoever, spare and jack are original to the car. Trunk hatch has perfect inspection stamps intact. Engine bay, with functional air grabber intake is perfect and original except for newer battery. Original condition is verified by typical paint overspray on inner fenders and original inspection/assembly stamps easily seen on cowl. Original manufacturer stickers and decals are intact. Interior is extraordinary for a car that is 44+ years old. All features, including 8 track cassette tape deck are present and functional, only the fuel gauge does not work. Dealer warranty book is in the glove compartment along with other original documents. The rear seat has never been removed therefore we presume that the original build sheet is intact. A museum quality Roadrunner that will be the highlight of any collection or enthusiasts garage. $50,000.00 OBO GIVE US A CALL/EMAIL WITH ANY QUESTIONS THAT YOU MAY HAVE 888-335-4467 AMCLASSICS2@AOL.COM THANK YOU FOR LOOKING!!!
