Stuffed with goodies like a forged steel crank, forged aluminum pistons and a hydraulic cam the cast iron block is topped with a dual plane aluminum intake, cast iron heads with steel valves and a Holley four-barrel carb. Despite the huge upgrade, the bay looks little more than lightly modified thanks to a host of correct pieces such as a voltage regulator and era-correct windshield wiper motor. Breathing through cast iron manifolds, turbo mufflers and factory-style resonators, the motor fires immediately and sounds awesome. Behind the Hemi, an A727 Torqueflite 3-speed automatic transfers power to the Dana 60 differential out back. Around the drivetrain, a stock suspension retains its torsion bar/leaf spring configuration. Steering is power assisted as are the four-wheel Wilwood disc brakes. Seventeen-inch Foose wheels top off the package.
