Its exotic 12-cylinder engine delivers @500 horsepower and offers a top speed of more than 200 miles per hour. Named after a ferocious bull raised by The Duke of Veragua in the mid 1800's, the car's looks could not have been much more exotic and its performance matched its namesake perfectly. In 1993,the "VT" model was introduced and received many refinements such as a better air conditioning system, redesigned engine air intakes, massive 335/35 ZR-17 tires to the rear, upgraded 4-pison Brembo brakes and, most importantly, the car was now equipped with 4-wheel drive. Lamborghini had strong experience with its 4-wheel drive system in the LM-002 and the system was ideally suited to the Diablo. We purchased this car from a local doctor in 2005, then with 16,531 miles. The car at that time was in unblemished condition inside and out and drove fabulously well. We then sold the car to a local (Far Hills) enthusiast who added the car to his growing collection. We have just obtained the car back from that collector who has driven the car fewer than 6,000 miles in his 7 years of ownership. The car remains in the same fabulous condition evident when we first sold it 7+ years ago. Finished in red with tan leather piped in body-matching red, the car has been fastidiously serviced and all original manuals and tools are present. 21,750 miles. $115,000.
