When the car was retired from racing, it was used as a promo for Dollar General and was restored to its debut appearance in 2007. 800 hp 358 ci SB2 Motor Tex Racing Special, 4 speed transmission, heavy duty race rear axle. The car is complete and as raced except radio systems. 2007 was the last year of any resemblance to a street version, before the car of tomorrow introduction in 2008. The car runs and drives and is an engineering marvel to behold. Chassis is stamped RHE 102-1156. This car was built by Ronnie Hopkins Engineering. The chassis number is RHE 1021156 meaning it was built in 2002 and was the 1.156 car built by RHE and was delivered to Robert Yates Racing to run in Busch series.
