DESCRIPTIONThis an absolutely beautiful, completely restored and award winning 1956 Ford Fairlane Town Sedan (4-door with post) that features the Thunderbird 292 cu. in. Y Block engine (completely rebuilt to handle regular unleaded gas) with P. S. and after market power brakes. Has an original 12 volt system with entire wiring replacement as well as lights bulbs and lenses. Automatic transmission rebuilt and radiator professionally reconditioned too Beautiful rare and original 73C Meadow mist green & Colonial White paint job applied after body & frame was blasted thoroughly. Additionally, received high polish stainless and complete re-chroming. Wonderfully restored interior features two-tone Medium Metallic Green & Meadow mist Green dash and moldings with original factory Random Dot green material and medium green vinyl with ABC Upholstery replacement carpeting. Power Steering wheel rebuilt professionally from core out and original AM radio replaced with original Town and Country AM radio that has been modified for FM as well. Car was manufactured in Memphis, TN in December 1955 and I purchased from AL owner in 2002 prior to beginning 3 year restoration project.
