DESCRIPTIONMy 1960 Ford Fairlane 500. I bought this car from the Cross and Son's car show back in 1998 in Pomona. I bought if for $1900 and drove it from Valencia (owners house) down to Rancho Cucamonga. It was my first true car. I drove it as a daily driver during most of high school and college. That was lots of fun. She always got lots of attention. The old drum brakes are the size of 55 gallon drums and don't work at all when they get wet. You learn a lot about driving a car when that happens. The orginal In-Line 6 223 has only 76,000 miles and is matched up with a 3 on the tree. Take someone for a ride that has never driven in a car with a shifter on the column and their eyes open up really wide. Lots of work to do still to get it where I want it, but everything works and she drives great.
