DESCRIPTIONMy 1963 Glacier Blue Buick Riviera has had a wonderful cared for life and the time has come for it to begin it's next half century with a loving person. The engine, a 425 cu in (7.0 L) Nailhead V8 runs perfect. The transmission shifts with ease and it rides like a dream. I bought it from the third owner who repainted it the original colour. The car does not have power windows, locks or A/C but that never bothered me as this car was meant to ride with the windows open. It does have the original AM radio and it works as well. The car has two minor blemishes, one on the hood along the chrome trim and the other behind the passenger front tire. I've had both checked out and according to a professional, they are not cause for alarm. I was going to fix them and never got around to do it... Like I said it never bothered me, hopefully you'll feel the same. The interior and ceiling liner is PERFECT. A little wear on the interior door handles. The clock is accurate twice a day. (It does not work). The engine is clean and dry and the exhaust runs clean and smoke free. The tires are in good shape with plenty of wear and the hub caps are the 'turbine style' option. No rust or body rot anywhere. And did I say it runs beautifully. The frame is straight and to the best of my knowledge, it has never been in an accident. It truly is, in my opinion, the best looking car ever to come out of the golden age of GM.
