DESCRIPTION1964 Chrysler Imperial Custom 4 dr Sedan. We've owed since 1997. Bought it showing 73,000 miles. Currently showing 78,000 miles (and some change). It is in very good original condition originating out of California -- so no rust. The paint is not perfect but very good, nice and glossy with only a few small chipped or cracked areas. The chrome is very good with little to no pitting. The 340 HP, 413 cu in Wedgehead V8 runs very well, with good power and a silky smooth ride. The front end is good and tight and the push button automatic transmission shift smoothly. The beautiful white leather seats are in very good shapes. I believe the front has been redone at sometime as it looks almost new. Most of the accessories on the car work with the exception of the AM=FM radio (which is original), the clock and the gas gauge. Trunk is excellent. Even has original spare tire. If you aren't familiar with these cars they were one of the top luxury automobiles of their time fully loaded with A/C, power steering, brakes, windows, seats, antenna and door locks not to mention "auto pilot" cruise control, A/C, automatic light dimmers, AM-FM radio and rear window defogger.
