DESCRIPTIONActually this car now belongs to our oldest son Everett, who talked me out of it after he decided to build a unconventional hot rod. He has agreed to remain faithful to the AMC power and it will either get a 401 or a 360 engine with a Torque Command ( Chrysler ) transmission ( 927 ) already purchased. He wants to build a fast and light version of my green hornet, maybe we will even take these to the regional AMC car show later this year in South Carolina. This is an actual AMC Hornet AMX., the first and only year the AMX was used on this model, it has the spoilers, targa band, original wheels ( 2 ), and interior as new however it was originally a 258 - 6 cylinder car that had been repowered with a 360 that was removed by the previous owner.
