• DESCRIPTIONHere is a rare "classic" 1970 Ford Torino GT Convertible. Color is red with black vinyl interior and black convertible top. The paint and body are both in great condition. It was painted and re-chromed in 98'. Everything is uniform, straight, and rust free. The black convertible top is in excellent condition and includes a glass rear window. The car is always clean and 100% garaged all the time. The tires are Dunlop Sport Tires, sizes P205/75/R15's with plenty of tread. The rims are stock Ford Magnum 500 wheels in excellent condition (extra spare mounted in trunk) and are a very nice look. A Ford Tach (factory dealer upgrade option) was added on the hood along with some custom black painting detail areas of taillights, front grille, side markers, and emblems, etc. Overall, the exterior has been very nicely maintained, tastefully done, and is very appealing. The engine is 351 Cleveland engine with a 3 speed automatic transmission with 82k miles stated on the odometer. The transmission rebuild was around 98' as well. It has headers and dual exhaust with an H-pipe and Flowmasters mufflers. Just recently installed a brand new battery, a new coil and electronic ignition. The car drives and handles very smooth as it is very lightly driven. In the last 13 years, owner has only put about 100 miles a year. It has a clear title w/ all paperwork, receipts and records, on hand for verification. The interior is original and just as nice as everything else. The vinyl seats, carpet flooring, door panels, dash, convertible cover, etc... are all in great condition. Some extra red detail paint was added to the door panels and dash cluster, the steering wheel was upgraded to a GT wheel, and an AM/FM/CD stereo was added. Everything functions as it should and nicely kept over the years. This 70' Torino is an ideal classic to own and is almost show ready. Owner will miss the car very much but due to a growing family and recent purchase of a new car, he will have to part ways.
