  • DESCRIPTIONBody & Paint: The paint on this vehicle is called "Burnished Saddle Poly". Factory paint code "68". It was recently professionally repainted only because the original paint was fading and checking. It looks great. It has a beautiful glass like shine with no orange peel, scratches, or chips. (Base coat / Clear Coat type of paint.) This GS is a solid "Rust Free" vehicle that still retains all its original steel body panels and floor pans. There were NO body repairs or patches needed before it was repainted. Rust free, period! The panel fit and alignment is good with all the correct gaps. The factory original vinyl top is in near perfect condition. Chrome & Trim: Most of the chrome and trim is still original. It is in nice shape. The chrome bumpers are true and straight and the chrome looks good. The stainless steel trim is all correct and is in very nice condition. All items shows very well. The chrome headlight bezels do have some pitting. These are very easy to swap out with new set. Interior: "Burnished Saddle" Notchback seat. (Code 179) The interior is in excellent condition. There are no rips, stains, holes, or cracks. The owner believes it may be the original interior. It could, it may look too good to still be original. The seats, door panels, headliner, and dash are all in near perfect condition. The carpet is nice and is not faded, but does shows wear in a few areas. All of the interior trim items are in very good condition. The factory steering wheel is in good shape without any cracks. Everything is in working condition including the lights, horn, gauges, wipers, rear window defroster and the AM/FM radio. Glass: The tinted glass is in great condition and looks to still be all original. There are no chips, cracks or wiper marks. The side windows roll down and up easy without any problems. The windows received all new rubber weather stripping when the vehicle was repainted. Wheels & Tires: The Cooper tires are in like new condition. All four tires are P215/75R14 with the correct width whitewall. The tires are mounted on factory Buick chrome 14" rally wheels. The wheels are in very good condition without any problems. Trunk Compartment: Again, Rust free original trunk pans. The factory splatter trunk paint is in good condition. The trunk is all stock looking including the bias ply spare tire. It also has the correct jack and jacking tools. The original trunk mat does have a few stains/marks that may or may not clean up. Engine Compartment: Under the GS "Ram Air" hood is stock looking engine compartment. The vehicle is powered by its original 350 cu.in. "High Compression" GS engine. The compartment is very clean, but can use a quick wipe down and detailing to really make it show ready. It has power brakes, power steering, and factory AC. No problems under the hood. See the "Mechanical" section for more details. Chassis - Frame & Undercarriage: Please view the undercarriage photos. From these photos, you will see how nice and rust free this vehicle is. The frame is solid, straight, clean and free of any past rust problems or issues. There no signs of rust pit marks or scale rust problems. Original floor pans. There is no undercoating or rust proofing hiding weak or problem areas. Check out the photos that show the bottom rocker panel. The can still see each factory spot weld dimple. Nine times out of ten, people selling a car would not talk about or take any photos of the underside. The undercarriage tells you a lot about the car, that is why we took a few pictures of the bottom. Mechanical: Drive Train: Buick 350 cu.in. small block. "HI Comp" (High Compression) GS350 315hp engine. It starts, runs, sounds and drives excellent. No problems. Doesn't leak, smoke, burn oil, or tick. The cylinder heads were recently professionally redone with a triple angle valve job, guides and hardened valve seats. Bolted to this power plant is a Turbo-Hydromatic automatic transmission (TH-350) Will consider partial trades
