The 1st gen (67 - 69) Firebirds had Coke bottle styling and its bumpers were integrated into the design of the front end and its rear "slit" taillights both of which distinguished it from the Camaro. The 69 had several styling changes which included new rooflines, front fender wind splints, flatter wheel openings and a new interior. This particular car retains its original 400ci / 330hp engine and is PHS certified. Not only is it optioned with all of the standard 400 equipment but it is also equipped with a turbo hydramatic transmission, factory air, cruise control, power steering, power brakes, a center console, rally gauges with a clock, a remote control exterior mirror and Rally II wheels. This is a 4 owner car that the current owner purchased in 1989. Shortly after purchasing it he had the car completely restored which included overhauling the original engine, transmission and rear end. At the time he owned a Pontiac dealership where it sat on display in his showroom for over 20 years during which it accumulated a total of 273 miles. It currently has 112,225 miles which are original to the car. In 2010 the dealership was sold and he put the car in storage. During the summer of 2012 it was pulled out of storage and completely serviced. It now runs incredibly.
